Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo
History, Values and Opportunities
The Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo is where creative talent meets academic training and becomes a profession.
Founded with the aim of promoting applied and visual arts, the Academy today is a leading institution within the AFAM (Higher Education for Art, Music and Dance) framework.
Its academic programs are officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and award qualifications valid throughout Europe.
Our programs
Choose from a wide range of study paths:
- First-Level Academic Courses (three-year programs): Interior Architecture and Design, Graphic Design and Illustrations, Painting, New Art Technologies, Game Design.
- Second-Level Academic Courses (two-year programs): Landscape Design.
- Professional Courses: Flower Design, Yacht Refit Design.
All programs are designed to provide a solid, innovative, and career-oriented education, preparing students for their chosen careers with confidence and creativity.
Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo – Milan Campus
Since 2022, the Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo is also based in Milan, at Via Privata Chioggia 2/4, a strategic location in one of the world’s most dynamic cities for the arts, design, and communication.

Collaborations with Internationally Renowned Artists
Our Academy has always combined artistic tradition and contemporary experimentation.
Over the years, it has established partnerships with renowned artists and professionals — including Marco Lodola, leading figure of the New Futurism movement; Omar Galliani, internationally acclaimed contemporary artist; and Alberto Sanna, Director of the Center for Advanced Technologies for Health and Well-being at IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.
Through these collaborations, the Academy promotes an innovative and conscious approach to visual arts, ensuring that research, creativity, and experimentation remain at the core of its educational vision
Our Academy in 4 Key Points
Accredited and Recognized. Our programs award First and Second Level Academic Diplomas (AFAM), officially recognized as equivalent to Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Italy and across the European Union.

Degrees Recognized in Italy and Across Europe
The Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo is accredited by AFAM (Higher Education for Art, Music and Dance) and authorized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) to issue official academic degrees recognized throughout Italy and the European Union.
- The First-Level Academic Diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree and allows graduates to continue their studies with a Second-Level program or to enter the professional world.
- The Second-Level Academic Diploma is equivalent to a Master’s Degree, allowing access to postgraduate programs, academic research, or advanced career opportunities in the fields of the arts, design, and visual communication.
