Advanced Artistic Training Programs
The Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo offers study programs designed to transform your creativity into a professional career. Our programs include three-year and two-year diploma programs, as well as specialized professional courses focussed on specific areas of design and visual arts.
Our academic diplomas are structured in accordance with the official ministerial guidelines and award recognized qualifications issued by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR). Each program is designed to provide students with artistic, technical, and design skills that can be immediately applied in the creative industries.
At our Academy, students have the opportunity to create, experiment, and grow their talent, supported by expert faculty members and a stimulating, interdisciplinary learning environment.
All three-year and two-year programs award an AFAM First or Second Level Academic Diploma, officially recognized in Italy and equivalent to a university Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at the European level.

How to apply
Entry Requirements
To enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo, applicants must hold a high school diploma.
- Students who have attended an Art High School or an Art Institute are admitted without any admission test.
- Students coming from other educational backgrounds are required to pass an entry test.
Admission Test
The entry exam consists of two steps:
- Practical test – execution of a task related to the chosen study program.
- Motivational interview – aimed at assessing personal interests, creative skills, and educational goals.
Through this procedure, the Academy ensures that classes are made of motivated, active students, ready to pursue both personal and professional growth in the field of the arts and design.
