An Academy with a Global Vision
Over the years, the Sanremo Academy of Fine Arts has built a strong network of partnerships with universities, art institutes, and design schools around the world. Through these collaborations, both students and faculty are able to take part in workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and international mobility programs, enriching their academic experience with unique and inspiring opportunities.

Erasmus+ Programme
Our Academy is part of the Erasmus+ Programme (www.erasmusplus.it), offering students and lecturers the opportunity to study, teach, or take part in international projects across Europe. This initiative promotes academic exchange, cultural growth, and the sharing of creative practices at an international level.
Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)
Our Academy holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), which enables participation in European funding programs for:
- Student Mobility
- Student Placement
- Teaching Staff Mobility
- Staff Training
Outgoing Student Mobility
Regularly enrolled students can apply to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme, gaining the opportunity to study or train abroad and enrich their artistic and academic experience.

- Motivation Letter (up to 3 preferred destinations)
- Transcript of Records
- Digital Portfolio (to be sent via WeTransfer)
- Official Language Certificate (if required by the host institution)
Incoming Students Admission
The Erasmus Office of our Academy manages applications from incoming international students according to the Erasmus+ Programme guidelines.
Application Procedure
- Contact the International Relations Office at your home university and confirm that a bilateral agreement exists with the Academy of Fine Arts of Sanremo.
- Submit the required documentation before the deadline:
- Wait for the official Letter of Acceptance.
- Notify the Erasmus Office of your arrival details to receive all academic and logistical information.
- Finalize your course selection with the support of academic coordinators.
Language Requirements
A minimum B1 level of Italian is required to attend courses at our Academy.

Non-EU Students
Required Documents for Admission to a First-Level Academic Diploma Course
- Original secondary school diploma (minimum 12 years of education) or equivalent certificate according to the regulations of the student’s home country
- Certificate of academic eligibility and confirmation of enrolment (if applicable under the local education system)
- Declaration of Value or certificate of comparability issued by the relevant authorities
- Two recent passport-size photos (one authenticated by the Italian diplomatic authority)
- Pre-enrolment application submitted through Universitaly
Required Documents for Admission to a Second-Level Academic Diploma Course
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary qualification granting access to a master-level program
- Official transcript of records with detailed course descriptions and credits (or Diploma Supplement)
- Two recent passport-size photos (one authenticated by the Italian diplomatic authority)
- If applicable: a letter of eligibility for enrolment at Accademia di Belle Arti di Sanremo (or equivalent certification)
- Pre-enrolment application submitted through Universitaly
